3D is rented through Gallows Point, not Suite St. John.

Since I love Gallow's, I'll chime in... We have stayed in 9C and 15D and one of the lower harbor units but I can't remember which one, maybe 11A. 15D would have to be my favorite because as mentioned earlier, the front door faces the pool for easy access and the view is outward away from the harbor and out into the sound. Very private but a farther walk from the office. Our friends stayed in 1C and were very happy with the distance from the office when coming and going and their view was just wonderful as pictured in an earlier post from unit 1. I agree that as long as you get one of the either updated or well kept units (do a little homework since some units are really showing their age) you will be happy at Gallow's. The walk into town for dinner is a breeze even if the trip home up the slight incline is less of a breeze for some, me included.

I guess if I was returning to Gallow's this fall (and I hope to be) then I would request one of the units in 15 because I was happy there and we liked to go for a dip in the pool each evening after dinner. If you won't use the pool much then I would choose something in 1 or 3 because of the views and easy access to coming and going from Gallow's. (oh, and FYI, 15D is rented through Suite St. John and 1C is rented through Gallow's directly and although not updated with granite, etc. it is in fine shape as far as Gallow's units go and I would stay there without hesitation)
