First trip....any tips?

Can't wait to read your trip report! You'll probably take a ton of pictures; you might want to keep a paper and pen handy so each night you can write down notes for each picture. There are so many beautiful beaches and I wouldn't have remembered which pictures were what if I didn't write it down.

CCM - maps are for sissies, right? Wrong. After many trips to STJ, the Tral Bandit map is the best. It's small enough to fit in any pocket of cargo pants or baoard shorts. Our old one is anotated with trip notes.
