Come'on ,lets hear it! I'm leaving in about a month and hope it's not about my jeep rental agency. Don't tease us like this.

OK fellow forumites - we can start a "poll" on who we think the agency may be :)

If it is a STJ agency, my bet would be Conrad Sutton because of the stories on here, although the 2 times we rented from them before we moved, it was a nice experience - except when my brother (from England) asked Conrad where the other foot pedal was as he needed 3 so he could change gears (it was an automatic not a stick and he was joking :) ) and when he returned the car and told Conrad "I hope you don't mind what I did to the back" After running to inspect the rear of the car and found nothing he did crack a smile and appreciate my brothers sense of humor (I think  ) You should have seen his face both times...............priceless :)

I'm betting Denzel.
Clever! Don't rent the cheap wheels from Denzil...one year we got a micro-suszuki with no radio, no a/c, and bald tires. Driving from Mystic Ridge to Maho, coming down into the first turn on 20, I found out the brakes barely worked. It was an island experience to remember.
When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

Ok, Bluegirl, nobody likes a tease. Well except maybe me, Jorge, and Rick. Yeah, you're right: We want dirt! American made dirt! Keep us waiting much longer and we might take back all of the nice "welcomes" extended.

I've been lurking more then posting. Seems my never mean spirited, but sarcastic wit has been misunderstood a couple of times and now I'm trying to stay in touch with my more sensitive self.

Hey Jorge..are you betting it is Denzil due to past experiences?? We had a bad time with him in July,2000. Needless to say, we havn't rented from him since.

Yes I did, but it's all good. Because of him it kinda forced me into renting over at the airport and using the ferry. For me that is the only way to go. I may be a fat #astard, but I don't like to be herded like cattle on a people ferry. And with Mr Slimman's parking lot right in town it makes it that much better. Jorge
I respectfully disagree. I like to rent on island in case something goes wrong, like a flat or worse. We usually rent from Conrad. Once, when we got a flat, I changed it and took the flat to him the next day. He gave us a new spare on the spot. We've had other, minor issues that he has taken care of without a problem. I don't know how you could do that if you rented on STT...without wasting the better part of a day going back to the rental agency on STT.

Jorge, I'm feeling the lesbian angle. It's brilliant, really. "It's okay, I'm not really a man, I'm a lesbian trapped in a man's body. It's okay to experiment. What you're feeling is natural. Give in to it." Freakin' brilliant!
