In the less Girly Spirit Which Cordless Drill and Which Beer
My drill is only a 14.4 Makita but like most men wish I had an 18 dewalt for those tuff jobs. Now the 24 might just be a little overkill for most houshold jobs someone could get hurt.
As for bears they been sighted over around Salt Pond also a bunch of em over around Chicago.
Beer really doesn't give me gas unless consumed with chili or Taco Bell. While on Island prefer a lite carribean beer with a girly lime thrown in.

I like power tools! Gifts to DH have included a few brands of cordless drills at various voltage. I even let him use them sometimes (usually after I have created a Swiss cheese scenario in the wall by mistake.) I am way happier in a high end hardware store or a sporting goods store than a clothing store. I also love cars.
Beer: Harp, Goose Island Octoberfest, lots of others. Just no Miller please.

For me, its more like too clumsy to be allowed on a ladder. I would figure it out if it had to! I am just glad I don't have to. Mr. Flip-Flop rocks. Even if he does shake his head and smirk when I tell him about my forum.Ksea wrote:Im with Flip flop, Im way to pretty to deal with ladders, rakes and power tools.
Ok, since we're all grabbing our crotchs and spitting, I'd like to ask all the ladies in da house, have you ever used a gas-powered weed wacker?
Hubby kept putting off weed-wacking last year and it pissed me off so I told him to show me how to use ours.
He was a little put-out and kept checking up on me while I cleared the entire front yard and both side yards.
It was SO FUN using that sucker!!
Yee-ha!

My hasn't everyone had fun with this today?
I just went down to the dock and used my Dewalt drill to fix the shore power inlet on my boat.
And I drank a couple Girly Coors Lights while I was doing it.
Now I am drinking another one and listening to KC.
Jay
PS I am glad this was taken light heartedly as it was meant.

I have a DeWalt, Mikita and a B&D Firestorm, none of which my husband is allowed to touch.....he has his own.
LysaC, I have an Echo gas powered trimmer as well as the Echo Backpack leaf blower and he's not allowed to touch those either.
I don't attempt to operate his Peterbilt 357 tractor trailer and he doesnt' attempt to operate my John Deere 425 lawn tractor.
Beer is for sissies!(unless it's that's warm black grog you get in Germany or Ireland)
If your gonna drink you might as well go for the good stuff like rum or vodka!
