At risk of starting another "obsessed" with drinking thread. I have had cocktails as early as 9:00 am at Charlotte Airport. A couple of the friends that we usually travel with, not this time, are reluctant fliers so the usually get tuned up pre-flight. I have seen some early morning bar tabs there that would pay for a ticket for someone else to tag along. We usually hit the Budweiser Brewhouse it on the way to the plane. They have a big captain morgan statue out side.

We are actually staying in St Thomas this trip. We rented a condo from some friends at Saphire Village. We are going to try to make it over to St John on Sunday for the beach bar garthering. We will also likely stay over Saturday evening for a while when we get back from Jost and get something to eat in Cruz Bay. My wife has a second interview for a Job while we are there and we want to look at some real estate while we are down so St Thomas was more convient for us.

CaptJ- Maybe we'll meet you guys for dinner if we are not to wrecked from the day of snorkeling and drinking. That is of course unless you guys want to go out for a romantic evening in St John then we will just see you on Sunday at the beach bar! I use to be able to hang with the big boys now I'm pretty much a lightweight when it comes to drinking, especially in the sun. Guess that comes with age!

Nature Girl,
My guess would be, based on previous experience dinner on saturday will be a few more drinks and a snack somewhere as after a day on the boat I doubt we be in any shape to go any place fancy. I am sure we can come up with something in Cruz Bay. Moregan Mango is always fun or we may just go to the Beach Bar and get a sandwich. You all are more than welcome to come along.

ps I am home today doing quarterly taxes. As you can tell I am having a hard time focusing on them. A got a nice reminder email from my accountant about penalties and the like.

Sounds like a plan! Sunday morning we are going to try to go to Lucy's for brunch. I'm sure we will be needing some painkillers then. We'll have one more day after that and it will be home sweet home. By the time vaca is over all I can think about is getting home to the dog and cats. I can't believe i'm actually thinking about going home already and we haven't even gotten there yet. I just know how quickly it's going to go!
Good luck with the tax thing. I'm trying to get my box packed to ship to ST John instead the computer keeps calling me back. I did however get my ordering done for the trip.
pop-up cabana tent
Dry bags
the two carryons from ebags
housing for my camera
Does anybody have an "Ooooops I should have brought a/an"?

Something that I take that may sound strange is the little tiny pack of garbage bags (the pack fits in your hand) I get them at the check out isle at Walmart. They are great for beach trash. I just stick the pack in the side of my cooler!
Extra thick hair goop for my hair- the salt water wrecks it. The regular conditioner won't do.

Nature Girl,
I have a large backpack style dry bag it does a great job. I will warn you though if you have a cell phone or other electronic device in it, swim to shore, get that item out, drink lots of stuff, use said item, put it in front pocket of soft sided cooler, get in the dinghy and then swamp the dinghy said device will fail to function. This is exactly what happened to the cell phone before last. The dry bags work well as long as you use them.

Cell phone demolition count:
Three in the Kanawha River
One in the Caribean.
One in the Ohio River.
One off of the roof of a house.
