It is truely amazing to see how much money some people will spend on a wedding. A friends son recently got married and he told me he paid 1000. for a Lladro figurine of a bride and groom to sit on top of the cake. The entire wedding was that over the top.
I'm glad Little Cyp wants to get married on a beach on STJ and have Rev. Stu preform the cerimony.

You are right. Reception was at Ocean Grill and rehearsal dinner/families get together was at Zozo's.flip-flop wrote:I though their reception was at Ocean Grill, not Zozo's. At least it showed shots of the Ocean Grill sign. Maybe it was the rehearsal dinner! A recpetion at Zozo's makes way more sense.
In general there are a lot of behind the scenes stuff that went on. The couple had been on only one trip to STJ and had decided that was where they wanted to get married. From there it escalates when you decide you want a production company to produce your wedding. About three months or so before the wedding on STJ the bride had met some folks that knew someone that knew someone else that produced the program. They decided to go with this when they realized that they could have some fun and also maybe be able to reduce some of the cost of the wedding. For example, any shop or restaurant was asked to reduce their pricing for on air coverage for some free advertising. Most did.
I've always thought that if I had had a daughter instead of a son, I would have said something likne. Here's 30K now go out and spend it on something nice like a down payment on a house.cypressgirl wrote:It is truely amazing to see how much money some people will spend on a wedding.
