I fell in love with the body deli back in 2005 when we discovered it in Mongoose Junction. I love their lotions, shampoo and conditioner, etc. I still buy the face wash - I think it is almond and my husband loves the sage and grapefruit facial cleanser. Order online - bodydeli.com (they are based in California) and have it shipped to me in NJ. Usually takes about 2 or 3 days after I place the order. Pretty quick. Love their stuff!!

I went into the Body Deli on my last trip and the prices scared me back out (no, they weren't THAT bad, but I am THAT cheap...). However, based on the recommendations of Gromit and Flip Flop who are terrible influences (having already made me buy Bobbi Brown "beach" products, Eliza B flip flops, and numerous other tidbits I don't really need but now can't live without) but who also have excellent taste....I'll go back in on the next trip!

They say they will last longer if refrigerated. But I haven't and they've been just fine!

I like the Island Ginger Souffle with grilled wahoo. I massage the fish first with Desert Sage oil.

Hey Gromit, just to let you know the "guy with the cool pottery" (Donald Schnell) has moved and can now be found in one of the little stores (upstairs) on the one way street just past the old Texaco station on the way to The Marketplace

Schnell!! That's right... he moved? Thanks for the update. I love his work and always try to pick up a peice or two when I visit. Unfortunately we took a STJ break last year to go to Florence, Italy and Disney so I feel like I'm out of touch!!

They sound delicious.
We do that to make it look more like a deli.....hence the refrigeration cases, the glass cases that hold the soap that people think is cheese and the ice cream looking freezer.....only reason.
The owners came up with that idea.
