we would got to Cafe roma and get pizza alot....
my fav restaurant on STJ is rhumblines.
i would follow jerome wherever he is........from morgans to his own place rhumblines
i also love sweet plantains and la tapa.....those can be $$$ but to me it is worth it.
i would just think since tradewinds quoted him as saying he has a chef from italy that the cuisine would be high end and worth the $$$.

The pasta at Livio's definitely tastes better than the 89 cent stuff out of a box. No, it isn't fresh yet, but the quality of the dish, to me, is worth the price, and it will be even more so when they do start making pasta right in the restaurant.
And yes, it's totally authentic Italian...the chef doesn't even speak English!

Thanks for your review....it's helpful to hear from someone who has dined at Livio's. I sure do hope that this upscale italian restaurant can make it on St. John....it will definitely be on our list of places to try when we are there in September....mia
