I definily like beach bar over woody's. It is totally different! in coral bay i prefer island blues to skinny's too! I guess the more laid back and relaxed the better for me!

Since we didn't eat at Miss lucy's I can't comment on that one.

I like the Beach Bar and Woody's for different things. We tend to swing by both. Sitting at the Beach Bar and watching the ferry's come and go is soo relaxing; beach access for overflow rather than the street is a positive. But, Woody's has high tourist energy.

Cheers, RickG

I've never stopped at Beach Bar because it seems whenever we passed it was very smokey, even for an outdoor bar. Only been to Woody's once for take-out.

Wow, I haven't seen such a contentious debate since the last time someone mentioned Kenny Chesney. You have to check out the Sunday jazz at the Beach Bar but I think Woody's will always be my favorite because on my first trip in 2004 the Beach Bar was being remodeled while I was there. Woody's just appeals to me but I'm a twenty something single guy so I guess their marketing is working. Give them both a try, bar hopping is a blast on St. John.

Beach Bar all the way. I'll take an open air bar versus a hot wooden shack anytime!!

Two different tings.

The Beach Bar is the consummate bar on the beach.

Woody's is the quintessential island dive bar. Touristoes getting hammered and loving it!

Both are great don't make it comparative just enjoy.

Cheers

I love Todd and Chad at Woody's....and being that I spend my time at Quiet Mon, I can get food from Woody's.........lol
Living on island for 2 years, I went to Woody's and actually sat down TWICE.......
The Beach Bar I love to listen to Cat and TBird play and I love the Sunday jazz......
depends on what vibe you are looking for......Woody's is known for tourists and people looking to find kenny......:)
