I would say for the best Bushwackers try Caneel Bay's Beach Bar. They are awesome! If you get over to Jost Van Dyke and the Soggy Dollar Bar, they're my vote for the best Painkillers!

Top it off with Diet Sprite

Stir

Drink

All I can add is the BBC at the outdoor bar in Coral bay where the Aqua Bistro is. Yummm. From what we saw when we watched the bartender make it (so we could make them at home) conflicts with recipies I have seen listed online. So, I don't know what he "true" way to make it is.

I never had a Painkiller, lime n' coconut, or a Bushwacker?

Were not real big drinkers, but we do like sweet tropical drinks, so these sound great by name... can anyone give some recipies for these?

Our favorite place for a Bushwacker is the Fish Trap bar.

You're right - it does depend on the bartender except the Soggy Dollar. They are always good.

Now I know, for the most part, all you guys while in Paradise, hang on STJ but I thought I'd add that we have had Buswackers all over STJ and STT. My wife now considers herself somewhat of an officinado and she votes a hands down for Paradise Point on STT for the best Bushwacker. All that comes home with us, up to the limit, are the ingriedients for them. She coaxed the "Real" recipe out of one of the bar tenders there a few years ago.

By the way, The Soggy Dollar Painkillers are awesome, no doubt, however if you ever visit Magens Bay try one there. Same as Soogy's but they float a shot of Pussers (I think) on top. We-Hah, and the waitress will bring it right out into the water for ya.

It the Fourth of July Festival (Carnival) go to the village and get your drinks. May not be fancy or the best. However, will guarantee them being strong and there will be live music.

Okay, I'm going to go against popular opinion on the painkillers at The Soggy Dollar Bar being the best. I agree that they're good, but imo, they're just a little too sweet. I'm partial to the ones just down the beach at One Love (a little less sweet and a little more rum). The day we were on Jost there was this awesome guy playing his guitar and and singing reegee down at One Love - he was terrific! Well, maybe that's why the painkillers seemed better. I'm actually a Margarita girl by first preference and I'm wondering where everyone thinks the best Margaritas are served. Cheers, Ali~
