How much do you want to bet they were just as loud when they got back on the boat. I would hate to have them sitting at my table. :?

We were at Francis Bay last year in June and it was not at all crowded. All of a sudden this family comes and sets up right next to us - I mean RIGHT NEXT to us. I looked at my husband and he looked at me and we both were wondering why?? WHy not move down a little bit or a lot bit - there was space!

SO we will try not to yell next week, but please don't set your neat sheet on top of mine or I may just have to take a peek in your cooler....

Don't Shout

God, don't you just hate the sound of people having a good time at the beach? Where do they get the nerve???

Sorry Chris, these people were NOT having a good time. Mother was very shrill, children were very sassy, and Dad was unhappy with the whole lot of them. If that is your idea of a good time, let me know when you plan on being on the beach so I can go hiking that day

Kind of on topic and kind of not. It's all about loudness in perspective to your surroundings. Small history forthcoming.

We live on a lake. And, over the years, we have learned a great deal about how sound carries. Many people have NO IDEA how much we can hear. Whether it be on a beach or up on our deck, above the lake...sound carries. (I do believe there is a song about this, Pete, help me here). Anyway, we've heard more than we've wanted to from time to time.

And, lesson learned? When we are out, on a beach or on the lake...

shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

You never know who is listening.
