Michael is the friend of a woman who works at Columbian Emeralds downstairs. He is in Hawaii having surgery. I know this because I was getting on the 11:00 ferry as she was admiring her sandscrit.

flip-flop and Vicki,

So we won't muck up nice flip-flops, we must have a special pair of "Web-cam Sand Writing Flip-Flops"! I've added it to my list!

Ruth...you should rent a special sandscrit writing stick for like $2 per message! Most peeps would pay just for the ease and availability of the writing tool. Besides, like it was said earlier, it saves the FlipFlops. I get royalty on the idea. You know where to mail my check

I thought about leaving a shovel down there, but t would disappear. We'll have to come up with some sort of a plan here.

How about some sort of kitchen tool, like a big, long-handled spoon or something? You could tie it to a big chunk of wood, like they do with public restroom keys!

OK Ruth, I got it. You can attach your sandscrit writer (whatever tool you choose- perhaps a big spoon as CG suggested) to a rope and keep it at the window of the kids store. When someone pays their $2 all you have to do is drop it out the window, let them write, and pull it back up. That simple!! What do you think?

Ed told me to tell you that if you didn't like that idea, he would be glad to come sit outside your store and handle the rental for you.

XOXO
