If you want to include your husband, the ruins directly across from Cinnamon Bay campground have a very walkable boardwalk through them. You can park for free in the lot in the campground if you get there early and walk across the street to the boardwalk. Bring your bathing suits and towels as it's a beautiful beach at Cinnamon Bay. Food and drink, changing area/restrooms on site. Boat rentals, too.

Cinnamon Bay is beautiful it was one of our beaches that we went to on our first visit. We will try to do the Cinnamon Bay ruins as it looks nice and easy.
