That ain't the only "exit tax" after leaving JVD...you'll feel it about 6am tomorrow.

If you really want to go nuts, ask Mic to make you the drink that includes every kind of Cruzan rum they have and some other stuff that'll take some years off your life the rust off a trailer hitch.

Been there and paid the tax many times. I have been 100% hard liquor free this trip. Beer only. I just told my wife a little while ago that it the first time I remember coming thru customs after one of these day trips to Jost.

Island time:
Taxi is 5$ per person.

It was a great day.

Ooops, didn't read the second page before replying. LMAO about not remembering customs :lol: . I'm sure those customs peeps have some great stories.
