Speak to him as if he is alert and able to understand. We don't know what he is able to hear and understand. Require that of everyone who goes into his room. There is so much that can be done now.
I don't know you, ifloat, but my prayers are going out with all the others, to you, your husband, and your family. May they all be so tremendous that they move the heavens and your husband recovers fully!
Medical miracles happen everyday, and I pray yours comes very soon!
I so agree with Jim's advice! And, if you're in a major medical center, see just the fourth year medical students, the fellows, and the attendings can do all the work. You want the highest folks on the team to be working for your husband, not the newbiew. As far as his care goes, it's good that this didn't happen in June, when everyone moves up and starts all over again.
You're still heavily in my heart!
Sending prayers your way and hoping for a full recovery and another trip to STJ for you both. I do not know you, but this forum and the people on it have been so wonderful in planning our trip. Everyone is like family and when someone is in need of prayers it seems like everyone is always there. Sending good thoughts your way!
