Read something interesting about Gibney Beach......
My memory is very fuzzy on this but I remember meeting a very nice lady who was in the family and she explained a little bit about the history of the property. I had just read a book about all of it so it was pretty cool. She was walking down the beach and got in a casual conversation with me or the group next to me. (It's been a while and had little ones running around at the time)
Anyways, I'll just make a plug for her because she was very friendly. I'm not sure if it is the same person but it sounds like her. We always avoid the houses also and have been down there every year no problem.
I am sure they have been pushed to the limit by the increasingly large and loud/inconsiderate groups of people on the beaches...it is definitely getting worse. Just people acting like they are the only ones on the beach...they don't care if they dive for footballs in your face, set up a blanket practically on top of yours, or drunkenly scream from the water to the beach for a drink refill.
That's another thread right there.

We have definitely noticed the same thing. And the cigarette butts on the beaches are worse too.djmom wrote: I am sure they have been pushed to the limit by the increasingly large and loud/inconsiderate groups of people on the beaches...it is definitely getting worse.
