Can you put the rum in the coconut?

Yes indeed, while in Cane Garden bay on tortola, there was a local there on the sand with a machete, stack of green coconuts and a bottle of callwoods rum. Best $5 I spent that day.

I guess I'd have to actually check a bag if I got one. Wonder what they would think at the airport if I just checked one bag and all it contained was a machete.

After some additional discussion with Mr. Gromit on the way home from work Monday, he insists that the greener coconuts in their husks (with the most coconut milk/water) are actually a lot easier to get into than the brown ones.

However, he also insists that a machete or similarly large kinife will make access a lot easier overall.
