Nice to have new participants on board! STJ is very special to us and hopefully you'll feel the same!

Thanks everyone for the welcome. I am starting to feel my life slow down as STJ draws near. I am working on a hit list of things I want to do so I am sure I will have more questions which I will post as they come up. The hardest decision I should have to make on vacation is which beach to try today!!!

Hello, I'm Boston Mike and I'm addicted to this thing we call "The Rock."

Welcome to the 4M. You will be on island for the first time of many.

Real men don't drink their drinks on the rocks Margo.

Well welcome. The place is very relaxing for sure. For years we keep saying let's do something different, but everytime we get there we say no way, time to reserve again for the next year! So we keep going back, the kids love it, no regrets.

I would recommend that for your first time there, don't stress out too much about every little spot to hit. I'd keep your plans more open and explore a lot, find out which part of the island you like the best.

You can get lots of info from this forum, the nice people hang out here!

SurfNH, thanks for the reply. From what I gather my plans will pretty much be to wake up and have coffee on the deck looking at paradise. After that well we shall see which way we turn every day. It could be a painkiller day on Maho or a bushwhacker day in Coral Bay. I think I can handle those decisions! :D

Welcome! Such hard decisions you will have to make in about a month- painkillers, bushwackers, mango rum or raspberry rum? Deciding which beach to go to or which trail to hike? Boy life is too rough!! :D :D
Makes you really just want to go shovel more snow right??? Have fun getting excited about this new adventure called STJ- you will love it! :D

It will be our first time to STJ as well and we too are celebrating our 25th. The anticipation is amazing! My hubby and I have been putting in a lot of hours so we are looking forward to the down time on this beautiful island. We have one sixteen year old son and although we're typically attached to the hip with him.....he's not going on this one. We leave two weeks from tomorrow!!!! Which reminds me....still need to make a reservation at Zozo's for the actual night of our anniversary.
