We bought containers of Deli Grotto's excellent chicken/ tuna/ turkey / etc. salads and a couple loaves of their awesome homemade bread and made our own sandwiches. Their muffins are great too- big enough to share.

Love taking lunch to the beach and hanging out all day. In addition to the ideas already mentioned, we've had (not all on the same day):
- hummous and bread from Lily's in Coral Bay
- Starfish sometimes has whole grain bread which we like to use for sandwiches.
- Rotisserie chicken from Starfish - carve meat for sandwiches
- Different marinated salads from Starfish deli. W We've had curried couscous, marinated veggies, pasta salad, bean salad, etc. Just remember to take forks with you to the beach.
- Cheese and bread or crackers
- We always take cut up veggies (carrots, green pepper, celery, cauliflower, whatever is fresh). We cut them up the night before.
- Oranges or grapes. So refreshing on the beach.
- Cookies from Starfish
- Must have Pringles. For us its a Caribbean picnic food thing.
- Hubby is chocoholic, so we always have chocolate in some form in the cooler.
We eat well on our beach picnics

How could I forget about the grapes! Frozon seedless red grapes on a hot sunny beach is sooo refreshing. Laura
