You can get cheaper rates for Gallows if you go through VRBO. Last year we were able to get it for $180 a night.
Sadly, I am tickerless :(

Although I have never stayed there, I think St. John Inn looks great and they have free happy hour at sunset!!! They post a lot on Facebook and advertise daily specials sometimes and looks like a fun place! www.stjohninn.com

We've stayed at the St. John Inn a few times and would stay again.
