DC trip planning help needed
We like to frequent the local dining establishments. These are all within walking distance from Union Station Metro.
Bis - http://www.hotelgeorge.com/html/restaur ... ton-dc.asp
Johnny's Half Shell - http://www.johnnyshalfshell.net/
Capital City Brewing Company; Capital Hill - http://www.capcitybrew.com/locations.php
And you really should kick around Georgetown. I'll give the "Used To Be Tour". That used to be Nathan's, that was Crazy Horse, that used to be Winston's...that used to be Aquarious where Jordan Hamilton spit a drink on a woman - oh, the stories we could tell. Finish off the night at Blues Alley - http://bluesalley.com/

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

Thanks Chet!
This is my son's neighborhood so I am taking notes.
I am not familiar w/ Bis or Johnny's so put them on my list for an upcoming visit.
Like the live entertainment that Johnny's occasionally offers.
Been to Blues Alley, (NOT to eat) and always check their schedule when we are coming to town for live interesting entertainment.
Any other restaurants close to Union Station that you like?

ok - near or in Union Station:

For good Irish pub fare, the Dubliner. Next door is Kelly's Irish Times that has live music and a lively drinking crowd.
