Actually, I know how you feel. There is just something about her--I think that she reads a little snobby--more so in the "Spice Necklace." the book had a "Look at what we did" feel to it. They were smug about throwing life away to go travel, but, wisely, both made money off the trip to fund further adventures.
If only there were more of a market for poorly-written vulgar travel writing. I'd have me a new job.
