We are novice snorkelers, but we were really psyched to do Waterlemon Cay. We hiked along further to shorten the swim, but we probably wouldn't do that again. There seemed to be a lot of diversity, both in sea life and habitat in a relatively small area. We had no issues with a current. We did stop on the sandy beach of the Cay just because we thought it would be cool to have an island to ourselves. My plan for the future would be to set out for a leisurely snorkel across Leinster to the little sandy beach for a brief rest, and then snorkel around the cay. We did it counter-clockwise. It was a fun adventure.

I've been halfway to Blue Cobblestone and back from Salt Pond beach and saw some amazing stuff out there. I imagine a one-way from Blue Cobblestone to Salt Pond beach would be phenomenal but measures just under a half mile swim. Liamsaunt is a Blue Cobblestone fan I believe...

I don't remember arches at Yawzi Point...maybe I missed them. There are caves at Tektite that are interesting/creepy to see.

I like so many places, it is hard to pick just one. I guess I would nominate Francis on the right side, Turtle Bay on the left side around the point, and Blue Cobblestone as particular favorites. And the Indians of course!

If you decide to make an excursion to the BVI - - the Indians are a fantastic deep water snorkel - and what I consider to be the most serene, beautiful shallow water snorkel - Little Harbor on Peter Island. Ahhh, so many wonderful memories - and I'm not done yet!!

Leinster & Waterlemon by far! I wouldn't hesitate to say that my wife & I have seen more ocean life there than all the other beaches on STJ combined.
