I am really enjoying your reports.

My family travelled a lot together when I was in my teens thru early twenties and your stories bring back happy memories, thank you!

My parents often allowed me to bring a friend. Recently an old friend ran into my dad and thanked him, saying she never would have seen so much if it hadn't been for my parents.

You gave the friend that hasn't been anywhere a wonderful gift by including her. She will always remember it. It is likely this experience will encourage her to spread her wings.

I agree with PA girl totally. What an opportunity.

Last year we took my 16 year old niece with us to STJ. She had never even been to a beach before which I found a bit strange!!

I'm not so sure she loved the island like we do, she hated snorkeling and was afraid of any fish she saw in the water, she is afraid of bugs and was the one to find a cockroach, a scorpion and a gecko in the house! She also ended up with a itchy rash by the end of the week due to so much sunscreen and aloe!

I don't think she'll be headed back!

That is so funny! My youngest is the same way. She is always the only one to see a jelly fish, any flying bug puts her in a total panic. A couple of years ago we were in a beautiful 4 bedroom villa in Virgin Grand Estates. My husband spent a small fortune to take the family to STJ for Christmas. The first night, Haley finds a scorpion about the size of a penny on the floor in her room. We heard this terrible, shrill scream coming from her room. We all ran upstairs to find her standing on her bed with this tiny little scorpion laying on it's back. I think she screamed it to death. Then she moves to the unused bedroom and finds these little nats that are almost not visibe to the naked eye. She refused to sleep in that room either. So my husband ends up in the scorpion room and Haley sleeps with me. She was like 12 at the time.

Oh no, you guys are scaring me! I'm taking my 16 year old daughter in June and she always finds the bugs, etc. I want her to have a great time so I have someone to go back with over the years.

I am also hoping that this Nov. "Women gone wild trip" becomes a yearly function and that I can keep affording to go!

I didn't think you could top part 1 of your report, but you did...I just want you to keep writing so I can keep reading. Love the part about Sandy Spit... You gals had quite a trip; such a wonderful memory you gave to Michelle. Love the picture of the three of you! Think Captain Stu would be up to a trip with 5 women in November??? And Sea-nile, I have a feeling this upcoming "women gone wild" trip is really, really gonna be something special!!!

Sounds like you girls had a blast! How much fun was that! I keep reading about your DD's piercing. My 19 year old just informed me that she is getting a freaking tattoo on her foot! I asked her please not to, that it might look tacky underneath the gorgeous wedding dress that StuScott might marry her in some day. "Oh mom...I've already picked it out." Well that's just lovely...

I know exactly what you mean about tatoos. Her dad has treatened her financially if she ever gets a tatoo. We HATE the piercings, but at least they can grow back. She started with one in her navel and took it out after a while because she didn't want a permanent hole. Then she got one in her NOSE of all places. I almost threw up. She only wore the tiniest little stud and I kept telling her it looked like a zit and the post thing in her nose kept flipping down and looking like a nose boog. So she took that out. Now the eyebrow....She is the best, most level headed kid I know, and I know this is just a way of telling the world "I'm really not a goody two-shoes."

I think if I ignore it she'll get tired of it. Except people keep telling her it kind of "fits her personality". I with they'd keep their mouths shut.

My 16 year old daughter wants a septum piercing! Yuk!(the nose kind that looks like a bull). She thinks she's getting one when she is 18. I hope that she changes her mind. I think piercings are just the thing for that generation. I told her it would make her look ugly but she disagrees!

Ahhhhhhh....anyone have tips on keeping a 4 year old 4 forever. I am stressing about her going to kindergarten in the Fall, I can't imagine piercings and tattooooos.
