You can not bring the center console dinghys onto any beach you must use a mooring ball (I work for the company that rents them :) )

I stand corrected. So sorry. We were just told that by those in charge.

Check the weather and water conditions before you rent a dinghy. If it's rough, very windy, or of course rainy, you might want to save the dinghy for another day.

We've rented dinghies twice, both times from from Noah's, and the first time was an absolute blast! The second time... not so much. We headed out towards Waterlemon both times, making it easily the first time in about 30 minutes. We never made it the second time, because the wind and waves that day were just too much for the little dinghy to handle. Once we got out of the Cruz Bay channel, we were really rocking, and the wind was blowing spray from the waves right into our faces, and right into the dinghy! We trudged along anyway, but once we got around Mary Point it was kind of scary, and we literally had six inches of water in the boat! We finally gave up and turned around and headed back to Francis, which was sheltered and calmer, to rest. We stopped at several other beaches on the way back to Cruz Bay and it was still a fun day, but we were disappointed that we didn't make it to Waterlemon.

But I highly recommend doing this, and if you pick the right day you'll have a great time!
