Best steaks on STJ

We would overwhelmingly vote for Turtle Bay Estate House steaks for a special dinner out. You won't even need a steak knife! Just our two cents!

Thank you! Now, how on earth to choose? So many steaks so little time...

FYI - the Turtle Bay Estate Steak House is only open during high season. When we were there in May it was already closed. There are dress requirements for this restaurant.

I don't know if Turtle Bay is only open during high season. But I do know that it was only open on select nights during low season. Their attire is clean casual. You could still have a nice pair of shorts with a collared shirt. You can't come off the beach and go to dinner here. Just call ahead to Caneel to find the dates and times that they are open.

Island Blues does a prime rib night (or something like it). It was great and price was excellent.

However, I usually stick to seafood on island and my red meat cravings are generally satisfied at Skinny Legs with a burger.
*Another fine scatterbrained production

I agree with reviews of Banana Deck and the Equator. Both were excellent. I'm a hardcore carnivore and non-seafood eater, so I've tried many beef options. Those both ranked high in my book. The Banana Deck was an especially nice surprise, because it feels almost too casual for a really good steak. But you get to enjoy that wonderful deck and a delicious meal at the same time. So glad to hear about the new options at the Westin and Caneel! I'll be looking for reviews.

MJ, Aqua Bistro's chef is an amazing talent. He used to be Shipwreck's chef before he went to Aqua Bistro.
