you'll know lion fish when you see it, unmistakeable brown and white stripes with plumage that resembles feather duster in pictures. while i've been active caribbean scuba & snorkeler for almost 40 yrs i's only seen pics till last week. i saw one on consecutive days(or same one twice in 2 places) off beach at club med punta cana. beautiful and 1 was within 15 feet of shore between 2 large blocks serving as a boat anchorage. both times in less than 8 feet of water.
both times went in to beach water activities desk that was less than 50 feet away. response from GO? reply, yeah seems like folks are spotting them regularly. aren't you concerned? reply, not really our problem.
