Villa vs. Cinnamon Bay tent
We were there for 10 days in early april. We stayed in a tent the first few days and then moved to a cottage. It was our fourth trip to cinnamon bay, past trips had only been in a cottage.
Tents are cheaper than cottages, but I do think the cottages is my best choice. We were in a tent on site 21, right on the beach. When it got dark, it was really dark, and there were swells coming in so it was pretty loud. Bugs were not an issue. Never had to use any bug spray the whole trip.
I think the biggest advantage to the cottage is having electricty. Power to read a bit after dark, power to run the refridgerator we rented for $7 a day, and power to run the chargers for the cammeras.
But, if a cottage wasn't available, I would stay again in the tent i a heartbeat. Being that close to the beach is everything to me. It is so nice to be there before the crowds show up and when the crowds leave.
