Signs...
From outside Coral Bay, near the bus stop:

And from Majestic Mile, I think that this was the only parking meter on STJ:

Also from Vie's. Not too far removed from reality concerning when you might find her there!

It has a sign!

It has a sign!

I'm really enjoying this thread. Some folks have a nice eye for the strange and quirky in addition to the spectacularly beautiful.
I noticed that most of my photos from our earlier trips to STJ were of beaches, sunsets, landscapes of all sorts. And lots of nearly duplicate shots of of all the magnificent views taken in different years. The later trips show a lot more of Coral Bay and Cruz Bay, of man-made things unique to the islands. If we go again, I'll definitely pay more attention to signs. I'd also like to photograph people more---I guess I mean the local West Indians rather than the tourists from Massachusetts. I regret not taking a lot more photos of places that have since disappeared or changed drastically. I can still go back to the place but not to the time.
Digital photography has certainly changed the quantity, if not the quality of photos that I shoot. There are a lot of places that I've visited that I'd like to return to so that I could enjoy it once again, but also to have a lot more photos of than I do.
