I pretty much like it all, especially the downhill stuff.

Anyone else find it hard to watch the short track racing? Man, that is stressful!

I'm sick of commentators that don't know shite about the sports they are covering.

I'm waiting for skeleton because those people are nuts. Might be inappropriate after the luge tragedy but I think the risk is pretty obvious and inherent in the many of these winter sports. I love watching the Luge. They fly by like bullets and the difference between first and second is less than a 1/10th of a second. Crazy fast.

I love JR Celski - speedskating. What an amazing story, back from a horrifying injury in less than 6 months. And he's adorable!

Ryan Miller-goalie for the US hockey team, plays for Buffalo. It's Miller Time!
Love the snowboarding, moguls skiing makes my knees ache watching it. Ugh, they said the one woman had each knee operated on 3 separate times-that's either dedication to the sport or a touch of insanity

After another gold medal, my new favorite is Björn Ferry. He won the biathlon 12,5 km yesterday. Congratulations! Sweden's first Olympic gold medal in Men's Biathlon in 50 years. About time  .

I thought he did better than he was scored. It's clear he is one of tomorrow's stars.

Wonder how the coarse language by Shawn White's coach (just before the "victory lap") is going to play tomorrow. I can just see Congress calling in the head of NBC

Hey Cptnkirk, 6 degrees of separation. Scott Lago grew up down the street from us, he was in school with our son in elementary school. How strange is that. 2 members of this forum are neighbors with members of the snowboard team. Small world!

While Louie Vito is a great name, I also submit the name of a Russian woman who competed in the Biathalon for Best Name at the Olympics: Svetlana Sleptsova.
No - I am not making that up, although it does sound like something out of a Mel Brooks movie.

Yay Scott Lago! Local NH boy made good! He's from my hometown area and by six degrees, I know people who know him.

I had to rewind the TV 3 times to catch it.

Although, I had to laugh when White suggested "riding down the middle". I said that very thing to my wife. He should ride slow down the middle while "Groovin'" plays on the speakers. Cuz that would have been awesome.

The run was even better. He ripped the sh!t out of it...to quote his coaches.

Louie did pretty darn good I thought. I was worried he wouldn't get to the finals but he tore up that second run. Wish he had won a medal but 5th isn't to shabby. We will be seeing more of him I'm sure. Did anybody see him on dancing with the stars he was pretty good at dancin too.

Vonn did her gold medal with an injury and came in at the end on one leg. Shinn injury. She is amazing!
