running in Peterborg

Post by Crazy Otto »

Just returned from our trip and yes it is possible to run in STT if you're into doing hills. In fact it was great. I ran 5 times last week, starting from our villa in Peterborg and going downhill on Peterborg Road to Magen's Bay, running the length of the beach and then back up. The downhill & beach part are very enjoyable, you just have to save your energy for that straight uphill return. A couple of times I was ready to call a cab! :-)

Crazy Otto,
Welcome back. Glad to hear that you got your running in. Did you ever "run" over to Udder Delight?

The absolute craziest thing I ever saw on STJ (note: I've never been on island simultaneous to Jorge ;))was this lady running with her dog way out on the East End. I was heading to my intro dive out at Haulover with Colette and she ran by with the poor doggie trailing behind. I swear to you that dog looked at us like "do you see this crazy woman, is that car air conditioned?" I never felt so sorry for an animal in all of my life! He/she was a black lab to boot! Ouch!
