New security at airports-Anyone travel recently?

I am not sure why unhooking the bracelet works but it does! I was told to do that by a security person leaving St Croix years ago and have done it every since with no problem. However, one time that I forgot to unhook it, the alarm did go off.
Makes one less thing to remove and put back on.

Just flew into DFW last night from Alabama...through Atlanta. Didn't notice any differences or changes in the airports or in flight. Still the same security procedures but was very quick.
