There are photos there now, visible to those who don't "have a Facebook."

I was out on the sea all day and couldn't a wave bigger than 2 ft. what a bust. I did see lots of disappointed surfers though.
In my next life I want to be a meteorologist so I can do a bad job and still have a job.

You should see the ones we have up here in the Northeast.

The swell is finally here! Still building this afternoon, along with steady rain and a lot of wind. Most wintery day in years. We are drinking hot chocolate...

Time to get the fuzzy slippers out  . I wonder if Jay and Deb are officially cold again too? I saw the pic they posted on FB and it looked pretty yucky today.
Going "home" again October 26th!

So just for the record...what exactly is "freezing" like in St. John? I had to laugh about that. I'm sure it is windy and cold for what you are used to. Stay inside and stay dry. The Spice Cam looked quite sad today.

Coming back from Jost yesterday afternoon was exactly as Hugo said with one exception, no hot chocolate. NE wind 20- 25 MPH gusts up to 35, rain, and at least swells up to 12 ft. What a ride.

Yesterday was the yukkiest day I've seen yet, on the Spicecam. Doesn't look so great today, either. But it could be much, much worse!

The swells on the 28th/29th caused huge waves on Tortola. The surfers had an amazing time..Many of them out surfing. I will post pics when I get home. Hubby tried to save a swimmer in distress on Tortola and became one himself. It was horribly scary. He was very close to drowning. We headed home on the 30th when rain and fog rolled in. Were stuck in the STT airport for many hours..Crazy trip..
