For Chickadee

Post by jofus »

Hi Jennifer,
I did write a review of La Sirena last year, Feb.2006. You can see the layout of the villa on the bottom of it's page on Windspree's website. It always seems to have a little breeze there so A/C was not an issue for us, although I seem to remember reading somewhere that during the summer months it was rough without it. My husband and I absolutely love this place. I already have it booked for next year (our 3rd time) we don't need to bother looking at other villas, it's perfect for us. It is very secluded and peaceful out there. It's about 15 min. to Coral Bay and 40-45 minutes to get to Cruz Bay. Kitchen had just about every thing we needed except a coffee grinder, so I left a small one there. Nice Bose surround sound system ( very important for us audiophiles). Bug population is relative to rainfall but the breezes do help keep the no seeums away. Very clean and well maintained. Another thing I really like about it is the bed/furniture does not feel damp. Every other villa I've stayed at (all on Coral Bay hillsides)always had the feeling of being slightly damp.

Thanks for sharing your trip. Your photos are great.

This big house on Peter Bay look....I don't know what to say - very big. Just doesn't seem to be in harmony with the nature.

Thanks for the report –I’ll have to look at the pictures at home. Our web server blocks going to where you have the pictures. Can’t wait to see them.
