Never tried cruising but...as I slip deeper into middle age I become more frightened of being stereotyped...or turning out like this guy...well he actually looks like he is having a good time....hehehe...

Sherban,
That video is a crack up! They needed a poll for some poll dancing, that railing just wasn't cutting it. We never laughed so hard. Thanks and I hope we are never video taped on vacation and sent to Youtube.

All I can say is I want some of what they are on.

cruising is great. everyone should try one at least once.

We go every 3-5 yrs but only so can see certain places and see if want to spend some "land" time on them. It's an exciting experience and lots of fun. No need to spend alot of money after the initial costs to have a good time. Not to sound cheap, but our last one,w/2 cruise tours(which can be overrated)& some trinkets from the ship store, few drinks, eating in one of the special rest. our total "ship" bill for a 7 day cruise came to under $300. And we had a good time. There's enough to keep you busy w/o breaking the bank.

Stay mid-ship and not all the way on top or near the bottom and s/b fine w/ movement. Most ships are fitted w/good stabilizers so movement is minimal unless high seas which aren't going to find in Caribbean.

Minde, you know where to find me if have more questions.

I do, Deb! Thanks! My planning is on hold until Christmas passes, but I'm pretty sure this is the way we're going. She agreed, which was wonderful! I'm so excited to introduce my dear friend to the ocean!
