Newbie to VI
Hi All:
At the urging of some friends who are members of this board, I decided to join. I didn't want to before because since I have never been to island. I just got back from my first trip and it was best vacation that I have ever had. I remember the feeling when I landed in St Thomas and taxi drive to the ferry to ST John was pretty scary thought, I closed my eyes all the way. I met some pretty amazing people in St John and it is truly paradise. The Gift Hill Villa was best, I kept pinching myself to make sure it wasn't dream. I ate snapper for the first time at Shipwrecked restaurant. I still remember getting in the water for the first time at Little Maho. My time in the island has truly changed my perspective on life and I feel like I am in "Island Time". I have a permanent smile on my face now. My boss told me that I wouldn't want to come back and she was so right. On the taxi ride back, I did have difficulty find a taxi to take me the airport but finally found one but I had to pay more which really didn't matter, I didn't want to miss my flight.
I do hafe a new addiction.
