Jimmy I am so so sorry to hear this sad news. I continue to keep your family in my prayers. I wish I had the words to offer that might comfort you, but I don't.
Please try to have a wonderful time on STJ w/Amy. Your brother wants that for you and you guys need a break.
Stay safe though, avoid hiking ;)

Jimmy,
I sent a card before, would it help to send more? If so, where? So sorry to hear this and the uncomfortable week you had with your friends. How is your sister doing?

Lisa seems to be holding tough. Financially though, she's in the dumps.
The fam is going to take care that the kids have a good Xmas.
Thanks-
MJ
PS-
Good one Jan...

Dear Jim,

It has been such a long hard struggle for him. I'm sorry it has come to this, but he may surprise you with his recovery.

My brother-in-law lost his leg in a freak accident 3 years ago. He is 76 yrs old and has had serious heart problems for 10 years.

After they had to amputate, my BIL made such a speedy recovery he amazed everyone. It took some therapy of course, but soon he was walking on his prosthesis with only a slight limp.

Best wishes to your brother for a speedy recovery!

Jim, I was looking for the opportunity to donate to a cause for Christmas. I don't need any more clothes, I don't need anymore "stuff". We are fine in that department.

Donations, cards, prayers, whatever...with over 2,000 people on this forum, I think we can make a dent and help Lisa.

Give us the info.

I am sure it seems like this will never end. I hope this difficult step gets rid of the infections once and for all and that he makes a quick recovery.

Will pray for all of you.

Jimmy, I'm so sorry to hear this. Like other people have said, hopefully this radical surgery will allow the infection in the rest of his body to subside. Thoughts and prayers going out to you and your family.
