Wow---my kids' art projects never looked like that----beautiful!
I'll guess Jumbie, just to be different, but the beach looks too big.

Here's a hint- the photo. No, not Hawksnest or Jumbie!

I showed her your comments and she was amazed. So nice to hear something from someone other than your mom or art teacher!

She is beyond talented, she is a true artist.
She is up there with some of St. Johns local artists.
Good for her
There's no $ sign on a peace of mind, this I've come to know

Wow, amazing picture. Does the school she goes to focus heavily on the arts? It looks like an advanced effort! It should be framed!!!
Hoping for a USVI ticker in 2013!

Amazing ! How proud you have to be and so should your daughter !! Tell her to be always confidant in herself no matter what and she will never fail.
She's got a wonderful talent there, to be able to express yourself that way is great.
No ticker anymore. Next vac will prob. be the Fl Keys.

Great job Rebebula on Denis Bay! Come out from lurkdom more often!
Berlingirl- I guess why I am so excited about this painting is that this is only her 3rd painting. She has always been good at drawing, just on her own. So I enrolled her in a 1 week art camp with a local artist this summer. It went well so she started taking painting with the same lady when school started this year.
Obviously there are lots of clues in the painting to her inexperience but we are obviously thrilled with what is coming out of this so far. My younger daughter has been taking classes from her for a year and that is going really well also. Great teacher.

Wow, that's really a great picture. I understand that you are proud of her.
Funny, I did exactly like Toni, starting to look if she had hid herself in the picture somewhere. I'm glad I was not the only one
