I heard from Mary-Eileen. They have not been able to access e-mail because of computer issues. You can get a hold of them by the phone number. They will get back to you if they are not at the desk. They aren't happy about the situation either.

Gee... I have been gone for a while folks (Costa Rica)and just stopped by. I will ALWAYS use PHPV when in St John Mary P (mom) and Mary E (daughter) are GREAT. I will not get to St John this year but would not use anyone else. ....Giz

I sent my third email to them on the 8th and heard back on the 11th. She said their computer was up and running again.

I no longer call STJ because our current cell phone provider charges $1 a minute to call there. When we signed up for the plan they told us the VI were included but it turned out that's only when we're there and calling non-VI numbers. We could call VI numbers for free with our former provider.

Anyway, I'm glad to have finally heard from them...if it hadn't been for the positive posts here and Jim saying that they had computer problems I would have given up on them after two emails.

Those ladies are definitely on "island time," but they run one of the best outfits on St. John, and I try to rent with them when I can.

I'm glad it's going to work out for you. My cell phone company raised the rates to St. John too, and I was not very happy about it.
