Absolutely LOVED your photos of one of my fave places ever! Have wonderful memories of Maine throughout my life, so thanks for sharing cuz you just brought me back there for a bit ;)

Great report, MB! Love the pics, it looks wonderful. Oh so peaceful.

JMQ thanks for the links - I used the Lobster in the Rough one and found my lunch destination for our road trip! We'll just be driving through Maine on our way home to see family, but we'll definitely now be stopping at a lobster shack :D Thanks!!

Cool. Bring the camera, bug spray, and BYOB of choice - some have limited beverage choices.

Camera: not a problem (my husband is an amateur photographer); bug spray: absolutely guaranteed; BYOB - I purposely chose a shack that was BYOB.... is that wrong? :lol:

I always say I need to act like a tourist to appreciate the beauty that I live in. Thanks for sharing. I too think Maine is pretty special 8)
