Saltydog,
Those 2 pic's were from Fred's in 2005 ,We were very lucky that they were there...When we were there in May 2004 ,we did not know if they would be playing at Fred's...I think we just finished dinner at the Fish Trap when we heard them start playing...Anyway , Island Girl and I rushed over, paid to get in,bought drinks and started jammin . After a while I realized that I had locked my camera in the jeep and it was too far to go get it . So I told Island Girl that I would be right back and that I was going to see if Paulie at Jay's Place might have disposable cameras for sale . Bought the camera , went back , started snapping pictures...The band was finished for the night...then I asked Island Girl if she wanted her picture taken with the BAND ! YA MON !.. RAS PAUL kinda rolled his eyes and said O.K. , so here I take some more pic's with all of them on stage...VERY HAPPY ISLAND GIRL !!! We get home from vacation ,Island Girl can't wait to get pic's developed...
She takes all of our vacation pic,s to the local CVS...
Waits 2 days , then goes to pick them up...looks through pic's..
" Miss some of my pictures are MISSING " !! " I dropped off 5 rolls and a disposable camera "... the girl say's " What disposable camera ?" " You didn't drop off any disposable camera ." ( Island Girl is about to go POSTAL )
She asked to speak to the Manager...Told Manager what had happened..." What could we do to make up for the loss of the camera "..." How about 2 round trip tickets to St.John , a Villa for a week , and the SLIGHTEST possibility that the band in those pictures MIGHT be on Island when we get there !!"...(NO MORE BUSINESS FOR CVS FROM US)...Like I said , we were VERY LUCKY Inner Visions was there .

Ahhh - I'll never forget the summer of '09 - the year I lost my Inner Versions viginity!
Boy, what I've been missing.
Anyway, we went to the Black Lobster in Salem, MA last night. It was a neat setting - outside, under a tent, on the water. If you ignored the 4 lane bridge and the occasional commuter rail going by, you'd swear you were in the the VI
We went early and had dinner (so-so food) and stayed for the first set (which was almost 2 hours long). Left with 3 CDs (3 for $30 - such a deal) and the requisite skeeter bites. Had a quick chat with IRBO-STJ.
Can't wait to see them on island in November!
Saltydog - thanks so much for posting the schedule. Don enjoyed them so much, he's thinking we should trek up to Gloucester or Maine next weekend.

We have never got to see Inner Visions yet, but I see they are playing at the All Island Holiday Party at Mongoose Junction on Dec 12 which just happens to be during our stay!! I've always wanted to go to the holiday party also, so it looks like I can knock off 2 things on my to do list on STJ!! Anyone ever been to the All Island Holiday Party?
Jayseadee we were at the Black Lobster too.
Were you the group of four sitting front center?
We were sitting between the girls that were with the band and the man, my husband dubbed, "The dance promoter". We had a real good time. The second set they did Hotel California and Finally packed the dance floor and it remained so till the end. If I didn't already have commitments for next weekend I would
be going to Glouster.

I finally got to see these guys in Salem,Ma last weekend and I have to say that they have a fan for life.
These guys are great!!! My friend had a little too much liquid courage and insisted we take a picture with the band and they were so down to earth. It made me miss St John and for that one night I felt that I was there.
Jayseadee it was great meeting you and your hubby.

IRBO-STJ,
Welcome to Inner Visions Reggae...Happy to hear that you finally get to " RIDE THE WAVES "....Being a down to earth band is what makes them so special , I really think that is what attracted Island Girl & I to their music in the first place...that and the fact that their music makes you feel good...Please post your pic's so we can check them out....
