I can't see the photo again, as the webpage is not responding, but they do have smaller orange spots towards the tail and on the back. I don't have any picture of a juvenile, so I'm unsure how they look.

But there are also a white spotted filefish that can be totally orange, without spots, so this is a bit confusing. That one is much bigger, so there is no doubt what species your fish is.

And just to make it even more confusing, there is a rare filefish called orange filefish (saw one in Virgin Gorda) that is covered in small orange dots.

Well, enough fish ID for today :lol: Bedtime here on this side of the pond.

Thanks. There was a pair of them nesting under the eves of the mill. Inside the mill there were were zillions of bats!
