Cypress -- I hear you girl.

My Aunt and cousin are joining us on the June trip and they live in Birmingham, AL. SO get this: I kept checking prices and everything from Birmingham was like $700-$800. But I could get them a flight to BWI via southwest super saver and then fly them to STT from DC with us for nearly HALF that!!

As it is we ended up with an itinerary on US Air from Atlanta (about 2.5 hours away) and they are going to drive and do a park & fly. But the US Air price was EXACTLY the same as our flights from DC on AA (around $300) which was still pretty damn good deal.

Still they saved a ridiculous amount of money by opting to drive to ATL even though it is a pain in the ass. Even if they decide to add a hotel at both ends of the trip they STILL come out ahead.

You just gotta be creative these days...
*Another fine scatterbrained production

I set up a Kayak alert for the same flights that we're booked on for our December trip, in case they drop enough that I can convince some friends to go. Yesterday the fare was $775 each. I'm feeling pretty good about my frequent flier tickets now!
