Berkfamily, You are so right about the information, I bet I've been gathering info from this forum for the last two years. I have a 3 ring binder with every possible bit of advice you can think of. It's time I contributed a little after taking in so much.
Being the lurker I WAS I read your reports also, glad you had a good time but how couldn't you.

You got it, but how do I follow Jorge, I'll give it a shot though. We are really looking forward to Villa Capiz, the view looks awesome! Last year we were in Villa L' Esprit De La Vie looking out over Ditliff Point. That was a very nice Villa.mary beth wrote:Tom, we are in Villa Capiz in November so I will be expecting a Trip report and pictureswhen you return!

Mahobayb, Thanks. Isn't this weather just great here, rain every other day and sun 5 times in the last month. I'm considering quitting my job moving to St John and opening up a Coney Island. I could call it Island Coneys. If only I knew it would work...
I have friends in your area also on Gross Isle.
Have a good trip and let us know how it went when you get back.

I am so thankful it's not snow. Yeah, Grosse Ilse is just a skip across the lake. Nice place. Island Coney's would be cool. My friend (Islandgirl) and I were just talking yesterday about buying a small piece of STJ land and I would start a greenhouse and she would do her travel agency thing. Shows how we are.Who needs plants on a tropical island and who wants to travel away from STJ??? Sometimes we just get silly. St John DREAMERS

MarciaMarciaMarcia,
You have a lot of first names...anyway the rum drinks sound great we'll have to do that. We will be there before noon on the 24th with our friends from Denver, we have 9A for that night then off to the Villa.
I think I'm out of control with this new toy (forum), It's very addicting.

Tom,
Welcome aboard!! I followed (not lurked) this board for close to 5 years before our first STJ visit this past Nov/Dec. I say followed because I started asking questions right off the bat. After reading this forum for that long, I really felt like I knew my way around, and it made our first trip more than memorable.
Glad to see you joined the fun!!
