Overrated: St. John Car Rental, breakfast at JJ's, all the fancy new villa construction

Underrated: October, the ferry to Jost

(I might come up with more. I'm at work and my brain keeps freezing before I can jot things down.)

Under Rated: Food at Tamarind. Great breakfast in a great location

Beach chickens! Just kidding, I posted awhile back about how the beach chickens rocked my friend's world. She was very upset by the mere idea of chickens on the beach.

Over Rated: donkeys and goats. At first I thought they were cute. Now, I see them as nuisance animals whose grazing contributes to soil erosion and run-off into the bays

Over - Woody's and Soggy Dollar (I'll still go there, though, cuz it's like riding Space Mountain at Disney - you just have to do it)

Under - a day out on the water (well, maybe it's not under-rated, but continues to be the highlight for us)
A mind is like a parachute. It only works when it's open.

Hi MCDomzal

Josaphines is in Coral Bay (she supplies all the restaurants, especially the high end ones, with her micro greens - you see her name on all the menu's here as well as selling them in Starfish Market)

You drive down the road that Love City Mini Mart is on and she is on the left - you will pass a sign nailed to a tree that reads "Tourist Info - you are lost" (love that sign :) ) and she is a little further - you can't miss it - it is called Coral Bay Garden Center. She has her fresh produce in the fridge by the door as well as on "counters" and she sells beautiful flowers/plants as she has an excellent landscaping business.

Her bags of Organic Mixed Greens sell for $4.00 per bag and they are, I believe $7.00 or $8.00 at Starfish - same bag.

She is closed on Mondays

Love this resurrection.

Underrated
Uncle Joes BBQ chicken --- I keep wondering what it is w/ the UJ haters but I think its that I don't like ribs and don't order them, I always get the chix and it kicks booty.
Trunk Bay
Renting a dinghy and exploring (I miss the dinghy rental at Crabby's and am glad we did that at least once - Kayaks are NOT the same)
Coral Bay houses
Cocoberry Shakes (I had to go back three times to get one and finally did and boy was it worth it!)

Overrated
Asolare!
Woody's
Full Moon Party @ Miss Lucy's (it was fun don't get me wrong but its not a MUST do)
Villas on the South Shore (that make me go through Cruz Bay to get to the beach) ;)

add to my underrated:
Cinnamon Bay restaurant for lunch. Chicken sandwich is awesome!
"Sponges grow in the ocean...I wonder how much deeper it would be if that didn't happen."

Before our last trip, I'd have shaken an angry fist at you. Now? I agree 100%. If you ask me, they suck.

That's right.

Suck.

Under rated: an evening out on the villa's deck. Drink in hand, watching the planes buzz back and forth over the island...while simultaneously tracking them via the internet with the other hand .

VickiH wrote:Overrated: Uncle Joe's. Yes, I said it. I don't like it. The sides are yummy, but I don't think their meat is good. Another vote for the Columbo Smoothie Stand. I don't think anything that have can beat the cocoberry shake from Paradise Cafe in Wharfside.

Underrated: Um...the cocoberry shake?
A...Vickie... hasn't the smoothie shack at wharfside been replaced by a taco stand?
