I am Oprah. But I thought Sox mentioned that a long time ago.
I am in marketing, but my position is far from 9-5 and runs the gamut from securing big level sponsorship money for our conferences to making sure our products meet the market's needs, etc. I work in an office and also from home a lot, at odd times. Don't worry my bossman loves me and knows he's getting his money's worth, even in this economy.
Though I can be quite verbose I write off the cuff and quickly (with the mispellings to prove it) so a post that might take others a long time to craft I will whip out in minutes. I am an AWESOME multitasker.
Just as I might be on the forum at 10 on a Monday, you will often find me working on a work project at 10pm on a Sunday after my kids are in bed. I spent the better part of the late fall/early winter reorganizing, rewriting and relaunching my organization's website (a legacy site that had a patchwork of over 10,000 unique pages to be sifted through). Tedious at best. All under budget and on schedule with a great reception from our users right after the new year.
I spend my spare time plotting how to escape to STJ as often and for as long as possible.
