just got confirmation on my credentials. I will be only photography the departure not the swearing in. I requested this because this will be showing Obama as he comes down the Capitol Steps after the ceremony and will Show Bush leaving in a Helicopter. I know you think this is boring but everyone else will be doing the swearing in and I wanted something different from the day.

The photo looked to me like they were trying to build a security fence with two purposes. I wouldn't want to climb over one of those to get anywhere, would you?

I drive that route to work and it has been amusing watching the porta potties multiply each morning. Maybe they were having crappy sex at night...

Note to anyone going to the inauguration...if it rains...port-o-potties can also provide shelter

There is a sport/activity in the infield at Pimlico Horse Race (Baltimore) call Running of the Urinals (Porta Potties). This is where people will run across the top the porta potties: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9n8xMAh29rc.

Last year they spaced the porta potties apart so people couldn't do it, but some still tried. We can just see Porta Potty surfing going on big time down in DC, especially with the crowd that support Obama.

Hubby said DC restaurants are going nuts. Stockpileing supplies becuz they figure distributors will not be able to get to them. Obama made our Sat interesting. Daughter had a vet emergency, no problem at 2:30 AM getting around, but at 5:00 the main roads were closed & they had to go around the city to get home. Now really,he didn't arrive until 4 PM Did you need to close the city down 12 hours ahead? We didn't go to her city house until 4 when everyone was frozen solid watching him speak. I just don't get it. Maybe I would stand out for hours in the cold for a free trip to STJ, but to watch a soon to be president speak??? Sorry, just not interested.
