What did you end up buying??? Just curious to see if it is in Mel's collection.

By the way, his favorite all time Favorite guitar is the 6 string Black Rainsong made of carbon fiber.

Now he wants the 12 string by Rainsong, 2,500.00 I've been trying to save up for one to surprise him. Maybe for Christmas this year if work goes well this year.

I ended up buying the Martin LX1.

I don't have a "favorite." They all are good for different things. I love my stock black and white strat for blues. But, the Takamini acoustic that I bought with Marcia in 1976 when we first were dating in high school always will hold a special place in my heart...it has mellowed over the years, as have I.
