You should bring down the old glockenspeil & have a jam session at The beach Bar!
OK, I'll give it a whirl;
#1- I met my first wife, a French National, while doing a freelance runway modelling show in Philadelphia,Pa.
#2- Went to a Thanksgiving Day Parade in Philly when I was 5 yrs. old, only to be told to "F***-Off, kid!" by none other than Mr. Peanut
#3- Went to/ participated in 2002 World Bartending Championships in Las Vegas; was one of four American Finalists
#4- Have seen Jumbies dangling/bouncing up & down from trees while driving back to the villa one night from Cruz bay to Coral Bay on Centerline Road
Anyone still playing? I'm usually good at killing threads...

Sorry, Waterguy.
Believe it ,or not, I was once in the Top Ten in The World at something...even if it was for TGI Fridays. It was a blast.

BINGO!!!
We have a winner!
In all honesty, it was on Northshore Rd.,( not Centerline Rd.), right by Oppenheimer that I witnessed jumbies dangling & bouncing in a very strange display of big spider-like yo-yo movements. They moved up & down quickly, and bounced like a person being hanged before being jerked back up into the trees. No kidding.
Aside from that,
#1- True. My bald skinny ass used to be a runway model, and moved to France to wed a Francaise 12 days after my 21st birthday. Kids, huh?
#2- True. I still have an (ir?)rational fear of peanuts that haunts me in nightmares curiously around Thanksgiving...
And #'s 3 & 4 have already been discussed.
Good guess, Marcia!
Hope this game continues.

Ding! Ding! Ding! shoemak38 wins the prize! :D

1. When I was a teenager I took a bus tour of the United States with my church group (MYF) and our counselors bought donuts and we went down to Tiffany's in New York about 6 am and ate donuts while tried to see in the windows.

2. Somehow I got talked into getting up in a bar and showing off my legs! I had to dance by myself on the dance floor while they played a song that you can't dance to. Needless to say, I didn't win! LOL!

4. When my husband was in the Air Force, he was stationed in Calumet, Michigan in the U.P. I had never seen snow fall out of the sky before (although I had been to the snow in our local mountains), and since that winter, I have NEVER been to the snow again! I can die happy without any snow in my life!

I'm not very good at this!

Okay, so it's my turn now. Again.

Here we go:
#1. There are 10 televisions in my house.
#2. I have three ear piercings on one ear and one on the other.
#3. I've fired a BB gun at turtles.
#4. I've found the best snorkeling to be at Waterlemon.

Round #2 for me

1. I've flown in the back of a Huey helicopter in the mountains of Honduras.
2. I gained 15 pounds in five weeks while doing an airfield obstruction survey in northern Italy.
3. I drove a 125 CC motorcycle from Vermont to Fort Belvoir Virginia in one day during the month of April.
4. I repelled 100 feet out of the helicopter in Germany.

as to the first set of trivia about myself I purchased the VW bus with the intention of driving to Oregon and be the best man for my army roommates wedding. The base I was stationed at contained the main human resource function for all of Europe that's where he met his wife. And where item number four came in to play the male-female ratio on the base was more than likely the highest of any military facility. My ex-roommate and his wife are still happily married and have a daughter who's graduated college. Sadly I never took the trip to Oregon as my college tuition bill increased and silly me thought it was prudent to save money and not drive west.
The black forest question relates to the fact that I used to go to Baden-Baden to go rock climbing on some cliffs that are renowned in the area.
The old Johnson & Johnson talcum baby powder came from a town called Reading Vermont. And I used to work there like I said earlier as a mining engineer. During the interview process my boss took me underground through a steep maze of narrow claustrophobic tunnels.

I made that way to easy. Loria, you win.

#1, yes, we have that many TV's in the house, four of which are in the basement gathering dust because we keep up grading.
#2, ear piercings, whatever.
#3, when Pete and I were kids, we used to go to his Dad's house in Virginia and pump up the BB gun to shoot at the turtles, knowing it would not hurt them. Dumb stuff you do when you are 14 years old. I could never, ever do that now.

#4, the winner: There is no way in heck you'd get me to snorkel at Waterlemon. I'm lucky to get out at Maho with a swim belt. I'm too scared!!
