Little Plantation Villa or Satinwood Villa
Hello All:
Still trying to hunt down the right house. Would anyone have any input on either of the above houses?
Thanks much,
T.

I, too stayed at Satinwood last year between Christmas and New Year's. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have.
There is nothing glamorous about the villa (except for the views!!!) but it is clean and certainly got the job done! We thought it was great for the money. The owner (Jim) is great to deal with. The house being completely off the grid is pretty cool. The toilets are self composting (no flush) which we were a little nervous about until we got there. They were absolutely NO issue whatsoever. We had plenty of water for drinking (a separate tap for purified water) and showers (always hot!) There is also a "hole" in the countertop for compost. So you could throw anything biodegradeable down there, including paper products. It really cut down on garbage.
We enjoyed our stay there very much.

Liked LP, stayed there about 5 years ago, nice house, great view and outdoor deck area. bad pillows, tiny sitting room, tough road going up the hill right across from Island Blues. there was a lot of construction, but that was years ago. don't know if you'll get noise from Cocoloba Plaza at night, it wasn't built yet. Liked the owner, Nancy. I thought it was for sale. We subsequently stayed in a more fabulous house in John's Folly.
